1 Launch of three new PSI programs
The Netherlands is committed to help foster Private Sector Development in Albania and to increase trade and investment between our countries. Consequently, the Embassy is proud to announce that from July 1th onwards, three new Albanian-Dutch joint ventures will be supported by the Private Sector Investment (PSI) program.

In his talk he made a case for a return to common sense in our eating and farming habits.

5 National Conference on Waste Management
On 29 May 2012 Ambassador Henk G.C. van den Dool addressed the audience at the National Conference on Waste Management “From Awareness to Practical Action” organized by Urban Research Institute in the framework of MATRA program of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs in partnership with KfW and German Embassy.
6 Tirana Architecture Week (TAW)
This week the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands attended the opening of Tirana Architecture Week (TAW).
7 International Day Against Homophobia 2012
On the occasion of International Day Against Homophobia (IDAHO) on May 17th, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands participated last week in various events to show his support to the local LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) community in Albania.
8 Queen's day 2012 - Vin d'Honeur
On April 26, The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands celebrated Queen's day during a Vin d’Honneur in Tirana.
9 Clean-up day in Albania (Lezha)
On 20 April 2012, on the occasion of the National Clean Up Day in Albania, Ambassador Henk G.C. van den Dool attended the inauguration ceremony of the new solid waste collection and management system in Lezha municipality being the first ground-breaking example of modern and innovative solutions to urban waste management problem in Albania.
10 Panel discussion EITI
On April 19th, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands organized, at the Conference and Exhibition on Albanian Natural Resources, a panel discussion on Albania’s membership in Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative (EITI) in collaboration with the Foreign Investors Association of Albania (FIAA).
