Netherlands Embassy in Tirana, Albania

Launch of three new PSI programs

The Netherlands is committed to help foster Private Sector Development in Albania and to increase trade and investment between our countries. Consequently, the Embassy is proud to announce that from July 1th onwards, three new Albanian-Dutch joint ventures will be supported by the Private Sector Investment (PSI) program.

The first PSI project is a collaboration between E.D.N.N. Beheer B.V. and Albemilja Sh.P.K. who together plan to set up a facility for printing high quality self-adhesive labels.

The second PSI supported collaboration is between De Weert Consultancy B.V. and Lila Sh. P. K. and focuses on the commercial production and marketing of certified frozen wild strawberries and fresh strawberries, raspberries and blackberries.

The third subsidized collaboration is between H en S Trading B.V. and AIBA SH.A. The partnership aims to set up the production of Shiitake mushrooms for the European market.

The PSI program is a grant program of the Dutch government that finances innovative business projects in emerging markets. The program is meant to facilitate collaboration between Dutch companies and local companies from the eligible countries. The grant contributes to up to 50% of the costs of the investment.
